The Lady Cannoneers hit the road again to compete with Onondaga CC and ended with a thriller road win for the Cannoneers in 5 sets (25-19, 25-11, 7-25, 26-28, 16-14)! The team was down 0-6 in the 5th set but kicked the mental toughness into high gear to fight off the opponent's crowd and offense of the lady Lazers to take one point at a time to the end, winning the 5th set 16-14. Sarah Kilburn had a dominating night leading the team with 11 kills and 3 blocks at critical points in the match. Kaila Gilpatric completed a phenomenal night with 9 kills, 3 service aces (100% serving), and 11 digs. Chelsea Greenwood had a high intensity night providing must needed points with 8 kills and 2 blocks. Mackenzie Lane had a great night providing 10 kills, 20 digs, and a high percentage serving night. Alexis Cruz showed her leadership by providing a solid night with 9 kills, 3 service aces, 3 assist, 12 digs, and 2 blocks. Bayleigh Woodard our "Quarterback" of the team continues to provide leadership and it showed in this 5 set match with 41 assist, 12 digs, and 1 service ace. Mckenzi Burnham the Libero had a strong defensive night helping the team to victory with 25 digs and 2 service aces.
