Jefferson Volleyball Defeats the Undefeated Fulton Montgomery Lady Raiders!

Lady Cannoneers had an exciting weekend of home matches with conference victories over Onondaga Community College 3-1 (25-15, 25-12, 19-25, and 25-17) then a 3-0 sweep over the undefeated Fulton-Montgomery Community College (26-24, 28-26, and 25-21).  Kaylee Clark had a solid weekend with 12 kills, 17 digs, and 2 aces.  Bayleigh Woodard displayed great setting and hustle while providing 30 assist, 6 digs, and 1 ace.  Amelia Lyon does it again with a 100% serve in percentage with 23 serves and providing 1 ace, 1 kill, 1 block, 10 digs and 36 assist.  Sarah Towles had a solid serving performance with 16 serves (100% serve in percentage) and displayed mental toughness serving while in a 21-11 deficit to win 28-26. Our Middle Blockers Chelsea Greenwood and Gabrielle Morley had an amazing weekend with Chelsea providing 23 kills, 3 blocks, 2 digs, and Gabrielle with 14 kills, 2 digs, and 1 ace.  Kailin McManaman finished strong with 7 kills and 3 blocks.  Emily Farrand displayed a solid defensive game while providing 18 digs, 5 kills, and 3 aces.  Alyssa O'Connor had a solid libero performance providing 24 digs, 1 kill, and 1 ace.  Autumn Davis had a solid performance tallying up 3 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 dig.  Our team captain had a great weekend of leadership and play providing 21 kills, 15 digs, and 1 block.  The Cannoneers are on a five game win streak and looking to finish up the regular season strong with an away game at Genesse Community College Thursday at 6pm and a home game Saturday at 10 am vs SUNY Adirondack during our Sophomore day.
