Stokely Leading the Charge for the Lady Cannoneers

The SUNY Jefferson Cannoneers delivered a stellar performance in their away match against Broome, securing a 3-0 victory. Freshman sensation Samantha Stokely led the charge with two goals, continuing her impressive run of form. Malena Stevenson also made her mark by scoring the third goal, further cementing the Cannoneers' dominance on the field.  The Cannoneers' offensive prowess was complemented by strong playmaking from Lilly Lottie, who tallied two assists, and Emily Bombard, who added one assist to the mix. The cohesive teamwork and strategic play were evident throughout the match, showcasing the team's growing synergy.  The Cannoneer defense held strong lead by veteran Ninette Fults to earn their first clean sheet of the season.  With this decisive win, the Cannoneers have demonstrated their potential and are poised for an exciting season ahead. 

The SUNY Jefferson Cannoneers showcased their resilience and depth in a thrilling 7-1 victory over Corning Community College, despite the challenge of playing on tired legs just a day after their match against SUNY Broome.  Freshman Sam Stokely continued her stellar form with two goals and an assist, while Kailey Montgomery added one goal and one assist to the tally. Macey Catlin made a notable impact by scoring her first collegiate goal. Standout performances came from Emily Bombard, who notched one goal and delivered an impressive three assists, and Lilly Lottie, who contributed two goals and two assists. Their playmaking abilities and tireless effort were crucial in breaking down Corning's defense and sealing the win.

The Cannoneers' ability to perform at a high level despite the quick turnaround reflects their determination and depth, setting a positive tone for the remainder of the season.
