Cannoneers Finish Strong at TC3 Invitational
Cannoneers finished strong at the Tompkins Cortland Invitational.
Dryden, NY - Jefferson Harriers continue to improve with three strong finished at the Tompkins Cortland Community College Invitational on Saturday. The meet included four schools and 18 competitors competing over a hilly 6K course. Freshman Jack Natali led the way for the Cannoneers with a strong second-place finish overall. Natali's time over the 6K course was 23:29. Running second for the Cannoneers and notching a fourth-place finish overall was fellow freshman teammate Charles Rogers. Rogers out kicked an Onondaga and Corning runner in the final 100 yards to finish in a time of 24:40. Rounding out the placings for the Cannoneers was freshman Jayden Vance-Mceachern in a time of 27:38. Vance-Mceachern's effort notched a thirteenth-place finish overall.
The Cannoneers return to action on Saturday October 15th when they travel to Corning Community College to compete in the MSAC Cross Country Championships. The 8K men's race starts at 10:45 am.
