Jefferson Cross Country Harry F. Anderson Cross Country Invitational Results

The Cannoneer runners headed to Roberts Wesleyan College Saturday for the Harry F. Anderson Cross Country Invitational.  This was the largest Invitational yet hosted by Roberts Wesleyan with over 480 male and female runners from NCAA DII, DIII and NJCAA teams.  The women's team was led by Alannah Cook who competed well in her first collegiate cross country race finishing the 5K course in 144^th place with a time of 23:50.3.  Alannah was the 3^rd NJCAA finisher overall.  She was followed by Madison Neukirch (159^th in 24:37.4), Shania Spicer (170^th in 25:43.7), Hanna Neukirch (193^rd in 28:35.6), Maddi Sochia (199^th in 29:01.1) and Erica Dixon (219^th in 34:09.7).

The men were led by Adama Samake in his first ever cross country race as he finished the 8K course in 226^th place with a time of 35:39.0.  Adam was followed by Henry Chen (236^th in 38:14.3), Jacob Maloney (241^st in 40:17.1), Oscar Middleton (242^nd in 40:47.5) and Noah Newton (244^th in 41:03.1).

Both teams will travel to Cazenovia for the 11^th Annual Cazenovia College Cross Country Invitational Saturday September 28^th.
