Lady Cannoneers Dominate in Cayuga Pod Play

The Lady Cannoneers (12-2) went 3-0 in POD play at Cayuga CC improving our record to 15-2 with a thriller five set match win vs Fulton-Montgomery CC (10-1) 3-2 (32-34, 17-25, 25-13, 25-12,15-7), Mohawk Valley CC 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-14), and Herkimer CC 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-14).  Chelsea Greenwood had another dominating day leading the team with 34 kills, 4 blocks, 12 digs, and 1 service ace.  Bayleigh Woodard had an awesome day leading the team with 81 assist, 34 digs and 1 kill.  Alexis Cruz had another solid performance with 22 kills, 4 service aces, 1 assist, and 21 digs.  Mckenzi Burnham the Libero had an amazing defensive day leading the team with 56 digs, 4 kills, 1 block, and 5 service aces.  Kaila Gilpatric completed another phenomenal day with 20 kills, 23 digs, 2 assist and 3 service aces. Sarah Kilburn had an awesome day leading the team with 8 service aces, 13 kills, 3 blocks, and 19 digs.  Mackenzie Lane provided a solid performance providing her team with 27 digs, 8 kills, 1 block, and 1 service ace. Alexia Broyles chipped in 3 kills and Maya Carroll finished the day strong with 9 digs.  Emma Roy had a strong serving day providing 3 service aces and 5 digs.  The 15-2 Lady Cannoneers prepare for a home match vs SUNY Genesee CC (11-8) on Tuesday 9/27/2022 at 6pm.
