Lady Cannoneers Swarm Past the Lady Hornets

Jefferson Women's Soccer cruise past the Lady Hornets with an 8-1 victory.

The Cannoneer Women's Soccer Program exterminated the Broome Hornets with a resounding 9-1 win despite a slow start to the match. Usual suspect Samantha Stokely tore apart the Hornets highline scoring 4 and providing a great assist to freshman Jonise Zehr for her first collegiate goal. The spotlight however shone brightest on freshman Player of the Match Morgan Dillenback who scored 3 and provided an incredible 5 assists. The Cannoneers first clean sheet still eludes them but solid defending and goalkeeping from Vaughn who totaled 14 saves with Alberry and co. was enough to keep it at just one goal conceded. The Cannoneers look forward to their first real challenge this weekend as they host Herkimer.
