On Wednesday night the Jefferson Women's Soccer team joined forces with the Herkimer Lady Generals in wearing Pink in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Even though the Lady Cannoneers came away with a 6-0 loss one of the main purposes of this game was to bring awareness to one of the fastest growing cancers, Breast Cancer. Both teams wore pink in honor of the many women who are affected by breast cancer.
