The Cannoneers traveled to Cayuga Community College on Wednesday to take on the Spartans and came out on the short end of a 5-1 score. Tim Irwin would continue his scoring ways in the 12th minute to put the Cannoneers up 1-0, only to watch the host Spartans score 3 goals to close out the scoring in the first half for a 3-1 lead. The Cannoneers would fight valiantly in the second half only to see the Spartans score 2 goals late in the match for the final count of 5-1. Next up for the Cannoneers is the final match of the season as they host Hudson Valley Saturday at 3 pm.
