he Jefferson Community College women's basketball team closed out its 2025–26 campaign on a high note Friday, earning a hard-fought 69–62 victory over Dallas College Richland in the 2026 NJCAA Region III Women's Basketball National Tournament.
The Lady Cannoneers were led by a standout performance from Abigail Bombard, who poured in 27 points to pace Jefferson's offense. Brooke Wiley added 10 points, helping the Cannoneers maintain their momentum throughout the contest.
