Butcher Named Region III Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Jefferson Women's Basketball Freshman Guard, Lakaiya Butcher,  for being named the NJCAA Region III Athlete of the Week, for the week of February 5th-February 11th.  Lakaiya made the most of the Lady Cannoneers only game this week against #6 nationally ranked Onondaga, leading Jefferson to an upset win over the Lazers 94-80. She led all scorers with 30 points shooting 65% on 11 for 17, grabbed 9 rebounds, had 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocked shots.
