Lady Cannoneers Defeat Lady Hawks on the Road 104-49

The Jefferson women's basketball team traveled to Utica, NY to take on Mohawk Valley in a Region III, cross-conference game on Wednesday, 11/9/21.

The Cannoneers got off to a booming start, scoring 10 straight points before the Hawks were able to score in the first quarter. Jefferson never looked back as they lead for the entire game.

Gabrielle Morley, a freshman from Ogdensburg, led all scorers with 19 points in the game, followed closely by Emily Farrand, also a freshman from Ogdensburg, who tallied 18 of her own for the Cannoneers. The team saw four players score in double digits with Hannah Malbouf and Shyanne Lewis scoring 13 and 11 points respectively. Emily Farrnad also pulled down 11 rebounds to mark a double-double performance for the game.

"We had a good team win today. It was another game where 11 players scored, and we had 26 assists" said Coach Tim Lamay of Wednesday's game.
