The Lady Cannoneers Played Host to the Visiting Alumni
Last Saturday afternoon the Jefferson Women's Basketball faced the Jefferson Women's Basketball Alumni Game.
On Saturday Jefferson women's basketball players of past and present met for the 2015 Robert F. Williams Alumni Game. The 2015 Cannoneer's faced off against several of the programs most talented alumni.
This year's alumni were led by former teammates Jen Williams, and Carrie Mason. They were joined by former Cannoneer's Janessa Stockwell, Alicia Uhlein, Amber Dibble, Sarah Burdick-Waite, current student assistant and former player Lucy Smoot, and current Women's Assistant Coach Joelle Percy. Carrie Mason led the Alumni in scoring with 14 points, while Janessa Stockwell was close behind with 13 points. The current Lady Cannoneer's were led by freshman point guard Riley Luckie's 14 points, while freshman forward Kali Eyles also totaled double digits with 10 points. The Lady Cannoneer's travel to Utica this weekend to participate and kick off their season at the Torchia Classic at Mohawk Valley C.C.
