Soluri Commits to the Golden Eagles

Sophomore Catcher/3rd Baseman Isabella Soluri from LaFargeville, NY (LaFargeville Central School) will be continuing her education and college softball career at the SUNY College at Brockport next year. Although Soluri is an academic sophomore, this season was her first collegiate softball season due to Covid.  

Soluri was named to the NJCAA Region 3 First Team and the Mid-State Athletic Conference All-Conference Team at the catcher position.  Soluri led the team in nearly every offensive category including batting average (.480) runs scored (38), runs batted in (38), and slugging percentage (.618).  Head Coach Patrick Labiendo had this to say about Soluri's move to Brockport, "Golden Eagles Coach, John Dumaw, is getting a well-rounded player that can come in and make significant contributions right away.  Izzy is a multidimensional player who is just as dominant defensively as she is offensively."    

Soluri will study Physical Education at SUNY College at Brockport.  While at SUNY Jefferson, Soluri excelled academically, including being honored by receiving the Outstanding Physical Education Student Award.
