May 14 The SUNY Jefferson softball team traveled to Herkimer to take on the Generals in the NJCCA Regional Finals series. The Cannoneers would take a quick 3-0 lead in the top of the 1st on a Leah Briones double, a walk to Riley Dowlearn and a couple of Herkimer errors. The Generals would battle back and plate four runs in the bottom of the 1st. The Generals would take a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the 2nd. Herkimer would extend the lead to 11-3 in the bottom of the 4th aided by 3 uncharacteristic SUNY Jefferson errors. Riley Dowlearn would get a run back for the Cannoneers in the top of the 5th by belting her first homerun of the season. That was all the offense the Cannoneers could muster as they dropped game 1 by a score of 12-4.
The Generals started quickly in game two scoring 6 runs in the top of the 1st inning. The Cannoneers would get 2 runs back in the bottom half of the inning on RBI singles by Kaylee Johnson and Marissa Valvo. Herkimer would add 1 run in the 3rd, 3 in the 4th and 1 in the 5th to stretch the lead to 11-2. Justine White would single to start the bottom of the 5th for the Cannoneers and come around to score, but SUNY Jefferson left 2 additional runners on base and the game would end by the score of 11-3.
The Cannoneer's finished the season with a 20 -12 record.
