4-27-2021 SUNY Jefferson Cannoneer's softball hosted the Broome Hornets in a double header. Jefferson would score 5 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and never look back as they defeated the Hornets by a score of 10-0. Sarah Johnson and Paige Kloster shared the pitching duties and combined for the one hit shutout. Bailey Zicari paced the offense with 3 hits for the Cannoneers. Isabella Soluri, Riley Dowlearn, Marissa Valvo, and Logan Kirchoff each chipped in with 2 hits for the victors.
The Cannoneers would plate 3 runs in the top of the first inning in and go on to defeat Broome 16-1 in game 2. Georgia Barton and Paige Kloster would combine to allow only 4 hits and 1 unearned run through the 5 inning contest. Zicari would once again have 3 hits in game 2. Leah Briones, Marissa Valvo, Riley Dowlearn, Logan Kirchoff, and Justine White would each added two hits for the Cannoneers.
The Cannoneers record improves to 14-10.
