Mohawk Valley was the victor in the first game by a score of 11-7. Sarah Johnson got the start for SUNY Jefferson and allowed 11 runs (9 earned runs) in 6 innings pitched taking the loss and evening her record to 1-1. Paige Kloster pitched a scoreless inning in relief. Offensively the Cannoneers were led by Bailey Zicari, Leah Briones, and Isabella Soluri who each recorded to hits apiece.
SUNY Jefferson came out on top in game 2 by a score of 15-2. Georgia Barton pitched a complete game 8 hitter allowing 2 runs and striking out 3, to earn her second win of the season and running her record to 2-0. The Cannoneers offense pounded out 18 hits against 3 Mohawk Valley pitchers. Isabella Soluri was 4 for 5 with a double and 2 runs batted in. Kaylee Johnson was 3-5 with a triple and 4 runs batted in.
