SUNY Jefferson won game 1 by a score of 8-0 behind a 2-hit shutout by pitcher Sarah Johnson. Johnson struck out 9 and walked 3. Offensively the Cannoneers were led by Leah Briones, Sarah Johnson, and Marissa Valvo who registered 2 hits each.
The Cannoneers finished the doubleheader sweep by winning game 2 by a score of 5-1. Georgia Barton recorded the pitching win by throwing six innings of 3 hit ball. Barton struck out 1 and walked 4. Sarah Johnson came in with one on in the top of the 7th inning to record the final 3 outs. Leah Briones continued her hot start by registering two more hits and 2 runs batted in. Bailey Zicari scored 2 runs and stole 2 bases for the Cannoneers.
