Cannoneers Lose Hard Fought Battle Against Onondaga

The Jefferson Men's soccer team fought valiantly on Wednesday night, only to fall to the Onondaga Lazers by the score of 2-0.  The first half was a battle and the Lazers broke through on a penalty kick and a corner kick in the last 10 minutes of the first half.  The second half continued to be a battle as the Cannoneers would hold the Lazers scoreless, thus the final score of 2-0 in the Mid-State Athletics Conference battle.  Kyle Gaumes had an outstanding game in goal for the Cannoneers in making 22 saves.

Next up for the Cannoneers is Broome CC at home on Wednesday.
