Cannoneers Lose Tough Match Against the Hornets

The Cannoneers traveled to Binghamton to take on the SUNY Broome Hornets and came away with a tough 2-0 loss.  The Cannoneers came out firing and would get a penalty kick in the opening minutes of the game, the only problem was that the Cannoneers would not convert the PK and the Hornets would gain some momentum.  The Cannoneers would gain back the momentum and have some great scoring chances only to see them go for naught and end the first half 0-0.  The second half would see the Hornets take it to the Cannoneers and hit a great goal from distance for a 1-0 lead and minutes later tack on a PK of their own for the final score of 2-0. Next up for the Cannoneers are Fulton-Montgomery on Saturday at home at 12pm.
