The Cannoneers men's lacrosse team dropped a regional matchup against Genesee Community College, 15-6, at home Wednesday night under the lights. Despite a strong effort from sophomore Carson Barrett, who finished with three goals and two assists, Jefferson couldn't come away with the win.
The loss marks the Cannoneers' second straight as they look to regroup heading into a key Region 3 rivalry matchup on Saturday. Jefferson will travel to Herkimer for a 1:00 p.m. faceoff.
