The Cannoneers opened regional play with a dominant performance, rolling to a 21–2 win over visiting Mohawk Valley Community College on Sophomore Night at the Cannoneer Complex Monday evening. Fourteen sophomores were honored at halftime and made their presence felt throughout he contest. Sophomores Andre Tillman, Jack Rathbun, and Jack Rowsam each netted five goals to lead the offensive. Sophomore Carson Barrett dished out five assists, while Rathbun tallied six more in an eleven-point outing. At the Faceoff X, freshman Blake Gregory was nearly perfect, winning 25 of 26 draws while grabbing a team-high 18 ground balls.
The Cannoneers hit the road this weekend for a pair of matchups against Delaware Technical Community College and Mercer County Community College.
