On Saturday, the Jefferson Men's Lacrosse team defeated the visiting Herkimer Generals 8-7.

On Saturday the Jefferson Men's Lacrosse team faced Region 3 rival Herkimer College. Through the first 30 minutes neither team could pull away as both defenses played tough and the score was 3-3 at the half. The second half brought much of the same as the teams both tallied 2 goals in the 3rd to keep it even at 5-5. Jefferson went on a 3 goal run in the 4th to take an 8-5 lead and held on for the 8-7 victory. Leading the way was Dan Grant in goal with 18 big saves and Paul Bracy with 4 goals. Anthony Donato dished out 2 assists and Jason Reape, Nick Hazen, Brandon Dibble, and Eric Mullin each chipped in a goal for the Cannoneer's. The Cannoneers travel to take on Genesee Community College on Wednesday before returning home on Saturday to take on TC3.
