Jefferson Cannoneers Have Tough Road Losses

On Saturday, the Cannoneers traveled to Troy, NY to take on the Hudson Valley Vikings and came away with a frustrating 100-73 loss.  The first half was played well and was tied with 3 minutes to go, only to see the Vikings go on a 10-0 run to lead 45-35 going  into halftime.  The second half would see the Vikings start on an 8-0 run and the Cannoneers could only fight an uphill battle the rest of the game, accuniting for the final score.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Aydin Bryan with 26 points, in his best game as a freshman so far.  Also lending a hand was Marcus Castine with 11 points/ 8 rebounds and Marcine Allen-Boutwell with 8 points and 4 steals.  Jaydon Koiner would also have 7 points-7 assists in the contest.  

The Cannoneers played their second game in as many days against the Adirondack Wolves and came up short by the score of 82-61.  It was a spirited game as the Cannoneers battled throughout, only to see the Wolves pull away in the second half.  Leading the way for the Cannoneers were Jaydon Koiner with 14 points, followed by Marcine Alle-Boutwell and Marcus Castine with 12 points, and Brandon Dodge with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
