The Cannoneers played inspired basketball throughout the game, only to see the SUNY Broome Hornets pull away in the second half for a 73-59 win. Jefferson took a 32-30 lead into halftime, but Broome scored 6 straight points to open the second half and lead until the end of the game. It was a well-played game and the Cannoneers would have balanced scoring in the losing effort. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Owen Coall with 13 points, followed by Patrick Allieu with 9 points/8 rebounds, along with Cameron Ruiz and Brandon Dodge with 8 points each.
