The Cannoneers hosted the Lazers of Onondaga Community College on Wednesday night and came away with a 93-80 to clinch the #3 seed for the upcoming Mid-State Athletic Conference tournament. It was a well-played game and the Cannoneers had a balanced attack, featuring four players in double figures. Leading the way was Shamell Ponds with 19 points/9 rebounds/8 assists, followed closely by Machi Plummer with a huge night of 15 points/17rebounds/7asists, along with Owen Coall chipping in with 15 points and Kristan Lewis with 14 points as well. Next up for the Cannoneers will be a battle with 1st place Genesee CC on sophomore night Wednesday 2/14.
