The Cannoneers would jump out to a quick 7-0 lead, only to see the Hornets battle back and take a 43-33 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Cannoneers would claw their way back, only to fall by the final score of the contest. Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Shamell Ponds with 28 points.
