The Cannoneers hosted the Saints of North Country on Thursday night and came away with an impressive 71-57 win. The game was close throughout and the Cannoneers pulled away in the last 5 minutes of the game to secure their 3rd straight win. It was a balanced team effort led by Shamell Ponds with 18 points, followed closely by Machi Plummer with 14 points/12 rebounds and Kristan Lewis with 14 points/9 rebounds. Mo Ndiaye had solid defensive game and chipped in with 7 points to help the cause. Next up is conference foe Finger Lakes on Saturday afternoon at the Mcvean Center gym.
