The Cannoneers hosted the Panthers of TC3 of Wednesday night and did not disappoint the home crowd with a hard fought 68-61 win.
The game would be tight throughout with the Cannoneers holding a slim 30-25 lead at the halfway point. The Cannoneers would start
the second half strong and after the first 10 minutes of play would grab a 10-point lead that they would never relinquish, which lead to
the 7-point victory.
Leading the way for the Cannoneers was Isiah Murphy with 26 points/15 rebounds/5 assists. Aiding the cause were Jeremiah Smith with
18 points/5 rebounds/4 assists, along with Howard Turner adding 15 points/7 rebounds. It was a great team effort and a well-deserved win
in the Mid-State conference.
