The Cannoneers hosted Division II Jamestown on Saturday and came away with a disappointing loss. The Cannoneers gave a 100 percent but could not get that final push to pull out the victory. The Cannoneers would only trail by 5 at halftime and would watch that lead swell to 17 points with 12 minutes to go. The Cannoneers would stage a furious comeback to cut the lead to 2 with 5 minutes to go, only to miss a couple of key shots down the stretch. The final score being Jamestown 74- Jefferson 65.
Leading the way for the Cannoneers would be Jeremiah Smith with 15/8 rebounds, followed by Da'Viques Naulls with 11 points/3 assists and Isaiah Lemon with 11 points/12 rebounds. The Cannoneers will resume play in January when they face Finger Lakes at home on January 8th.
