The Jefferson Cannoneers continued their improved play and almost pulled off the upset against #1 nationally ranked Herkimer on Thursday night, losing in overtime to the Generals. The game was tight throughout with Herkimer leading by 1 point at halftime and the Cannoneers winning the the second half by 1 point to send the game to overtime. In overtime, the Generals would pull away for the final score of 68-58. Leading the way for the Cannoneers we're the trio of Elijah Parrilla with 17 points, Isiah Murphy with 14 points/8 rebounds, and Isaiah Lemon with 10 points/6 rebounds. The Cannoneers look to rebound on Saturday at home versus Columbia-Greene.
