The Cannoneers opened their Mid State conference schedule with a resounding victory over Tompkins-Cortland Community College on Tuesday night by the score of 86-63. It was a hot start by the Cannoneers that propelled them to victory over the Panthers, as the Cannoneers made many shots in the first 20 minutes to find themselves leading by a score of 54-22 at half. From there on out, the Cannoneers would cruise to a victory.
Quincy Aubertine would lead the charge with 31 points and 6 rebounds. Herby Plaisimond would have a very good game also with 15 points and 4 rebounds. Everal Spyke would contribute 11 points and 4 assists, as well as Antonio Smalls-Hansell finishing with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, followed by Josh Newman with 8 points and 4 blocks. It was a great team win for the Cannoneers.
