Cannoneers Finish the Semester on High Note
The Jefferson Men's Basketball team continue their winning streak, bringing it to 8.
The Cannoneers hosted the Saints of North Country Community College on Saturday afternoon and extended their win streak to eight games and improved their overall record to 9-3 with a 100-82 win. Once again, the balance of the Cannoneers was too much for the Saints to handle as they placed five players in double figures, led by Deshawn Cann with 24 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Karaan Newsome chipped in with 15 points and 5 assists, with Javon Hunter also contributing 15 points. Christian Rohlehr continued his steady play with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Isameel Safo continued to improve with 11 points and 9 rebounds and TJ Jones conritbuted 8 points and 10 rebounds. Rounding out the scoring were Natell Windley with 8 points and Latrelle Lee with 7 points. The Cannoneers are off until January 9th when they will host Finger Lakes CC at home at 3 pm.
