Tough Weekend for Jefferson Golf
Jefferson golf had a tough weekend on the links.
This past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Jefferson Golf participated in 3 different tournaments. They started the weekend at the 2023 MVCC Hawk Invitational, held at the Oneida Community Golf Club. Jefferson finished tied for 6th place iwith a combined team score of 357. Nate Heller led the team with a 75, followed by Dan O'Connell with an 86, and Kacy Lennox with an 89. On Saturday, the team faired a little better finishing in 5th place with a combined team score of 339 in the SUNY Adirondack Golf Invitational, held at the Hiland Park Country Club. Kyle Gionet and Nate Heller led Jefferson with an 81, Followed by Dan O'Connell with an 88. Jefferson Golf finished up the weekend in the 2023 Hudson Valley Golf Invitational. The Cannoneers finished 5th once again with the combined team score of 348. Nate Heller led JCC with a 77, followed by Dan O'Connell with an 88 and Kacy Lennox with a 90.
