Cannoneers finish 2nd at Panther Invitational and 3rd at Lazer Invitational
Jefferson Golf finishes 2nd and 3rd in Panther and Lazer Invitationals
The Cannoneer Men's team finished 2nd at the 2022 Panther Invitational held at the Elm Tree golf course in Dryden , NY. Leading the way for the Cannoneers were Nathan Heller, shooting a 79 and Samuel Arrigo, shooting an 82. Rounding out the scoring for the Cannoneers were Cole Morrissette, shooting an 87 and Logan Hess, shooting a 93, good for second place. Also golfing for the Cannoneers that day were Nick Lennox(97) and Matt Doldo(98).
It was also a first on this day in Cannoneer history, as two women competed for the Cannoneers, Hannah Malbouf and Taylor Scoville. It was a cold and windy day in which the Cannoneers competed and fought the elements.
The Cannoneers would once again face the elements of mother nature, in which they would face sunshine, rain, and windy conditions at Sunset Ridge Golf Club in Marcellus , NY for the 2022 Lazer invitational. The Cannoneers would finish 3rd this day and leading the way was Samuel Arrigo who shot an 80 (6th). Nathan Heller would come in with an 83 (9th) , followed by Cole Morrissette with a 91 (21st) and Logan Hess with a 98 (26th), good for a 3rd place team finish. Also golfing for the Cannoneer men were Matthew Doldo (100), Nick Lennox (101), and Bryan Ardison(118).
The Cannoneer women also competed on this day as Taylor Scoville would finish in 6th place and Hannah Malbouf in 7th place for the tournament.
