Lafex Advances to the 2018 NJCAA Region III National Golf Tournament

On Monday and Tuesday of this week, the 2018 NJCAA Region III, Regional Golf Tournament was hosted by Onondaga Community College and held at the Timber Banks Golf Club, Baldwinsville, NY.  Jefferson had 4 players participate in the tournament, two of which made the 2018 NJCAA Region III All Region Golf Team, and one advanced, Gabe Lafex, to the 2018 NJCAA Region III National Golf Tournament.  Gabe finished 7th out of 43 golfers.  He had a combined score of 167, an 82 on Monday and an 85 Tuesday qualifying for the National Tournament.  Sophomore Dylan Kernehan was right behind him but miss the Nationals by one stroke.  Dylan and Gabe both made the 2018 NJCAA Region III All-Region Golf Team.  Below are the scores for Jefferson:
