Here are the eSports results for the week of October 28th-October 31st.
In Fortnite, our team showcased resilience, with Ian Jarrard, Andrew Pierce, and Ruby Stump continuing their undefeated streak, pulling off solid 2-0 wins against both Pratt Community College and Iowa Central. They also edged out a challenging 2-1 victory over Northwest Arkansas State. Carson Chambers and Trevor McIntyre faced a mixed evening, ultimately splitting their results.
On October 29, our Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) team faced off against Arizona Western, fighting hard but falling 4-2 in a well-contested series. The following day, our Overwatch team endured a nail-biting 3-2 loss to Montgomery in a gripping series that stretched all five games. Despite the outcome, William Schroeder and Diego Rivera delivered standout performances with their support and DPS play. Unfortunately, the team couldn't regain momentum in their next match, succumbing to a 3-0 loss to Heartland.
On Halloween, our Mario Kart racers, Justin Woodall and Tanner Gordon-Snyder, encountered tough competition from North Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas State, resulting in back-to-back 4-0 losses. Despite their efforts, they were unable to secure a victory. Our esports teams will use these experiences to grow and refine their strategies for the coming weeks
