The Cannoneer Call of Duty began their playoff campaign against Central Community College in the quarterfinals of the season. Despite an early lead in hard point (map 1), Jefferson was unable to hang on and dropped the first of a best of 5 series. However, the Cannoneers came back with a dominate performance in search and destroy that saw Lorenzo Robinson go a perfect 9-0 in the matchup. It was Riley Carter who led Jefferson in a huge third match of the series dropping 30 eliminations as the Cannoneers take map 3 and control the series 2 games to 1. Match 4, Carter and Robinson combined for 65 eliminations in hard point on Hotel, and Jefferson wins three in a row after the round 1 loss to advance to the Semi Finals.
The Semi Finals matchup would be against Dutchess Community. Jefferson struggled to get anything going in round 1 and would lose by 60 seconds. Map 2 was a different story, after a back and forth start to the second match, the Cannoneers would win 4 straight rounds to win map 2 by a score of 6-2. Adam Malinowski and Riley Carter combined for 16 eliminations in the winning effort. Map 3 was another back and forth contest; this time however, Jefferson would lose in the final push and go down 2 games to 1. Map 4 would be win or go home for the Cannoneers and Dani Nicholson would highlight this match with almost 3 minutes of objective time and an impressive 5 streak to solidify to the map 4 win and force a game 5. With the series tied up 2-2 entering the final match, Jefferson would unfortunately fall short and lose the final map 6-2 and end their season in the Semi Finals.
