Jefferson eSports Teams Kick off Their Playoff Season

Jefferson team that won lost to Pensacola in the next round 3-2  

The Cannoneer Fortnite squads battle as playoff season has arrived.  Unfortunately for the Cannoneers, team B and D both lost their opening round 2-0, ending their seasons.  Despite the loss, team B had a fantastic year finishing the regular season top 12 out of 49 teams.  Team A and C were seeded against each other and it was a close match.  Team A (Ian Jarrard and Andrew Carroll), who finished 8^th in the regular season took map 1 with ease, however Team C (Nick Derouin and Andrew Pierce) turned things around in map 2 with over 30 combined eliminations.  Winner takes all in map 3 - Team C started the game up 15-0 in eliminations and never looked back as Pierce put up an incredible total of 26 eliminations as they go on to upset the 8^th seeded Cannoneer team A.  Team C faced Pensacola in the second round of playoffs.  A very strong effort from Nick Derouin as he averaged double digit eliminations for the entire series, including a 21 elimination game. Despite this strong effort, the Cannoneers lost in the final map of the series to lose 3-2 ending their playoff run.
