Cannoneers Battle Hard But Fall to Dolphins 5–3

First Period
The Cannoneers came out strong, outshooting the Dolphins 15–6. Despite controlling play, a shorthanded goal by Lemoyne put the Cannoneers down 1–0 heading into the break.
Second Period
Early in the second, the Dolphins struck again to extend their lead to 2–0. The Cannoneers answered back in spectacular fashion, scoring three goals in just over a minute. Dylan Johnson opened the scoring, followed by a deflection from Mason Savage, and capped off with a backdoor finish from Connor Lamb. The Cannoneers carried a 3–2 lead into the third period, even while battling through several penalty kills.
Third Period
The final frame saw the Dolphins tie the game 3–3 on a power play. Despite relentless pressure from the Cannoneers, Lemoyne capitalized on a breakaway to regain the lead, then added another shorthanded tally to seal a 5–3 victory.
Looking Ahead
The Cannoneers return home to Clayton, NY on November 28th and 29th for a two-game series against Redeemer University.
