Jefferson Baseball Struggles at the Plate
Jefferson Baseball couldn't get their bats going on Saturday as they lost both games to host SUNY Adirondack.

In game 1 of Saturday's double-header in Glens Falls, NY, the Cannoneers fell to SUNY Adirondack 13-0. Jefferson's offense only consisted of a walk from Dakota Corbett-Bean to lead off the game and Will Simkin reached on an error in the 4th inning. Adirondack took advantage of many walks and found holes in the defense for a majority of their hits.
In Game 2 of Saturday's double header at SUNY Adirondack, Jefferson's bats were once again quiet. Adirondack's starting pitcher controlled the pace and kept our hitters guessing. Similar to game 1, JCC had a high amount of walks, paired with 5 errors to give Adirondack many free bases. Lack of control and fielding blunders escalated throughout the game, leading to a blowout loss for the Cannoneers. Keegan Poste made his first appearance on the mound this season, collecting one strikeout.
