Jefferson vs Onondaga Fall Ball

Game 1:

Jefferson won in a close come from behind effort 6-4 Saturday afternoon versus Onondaga CC at Hopkins Road Park in Liverpool, NY. Sophomore pitcher Josh Amann (Carthage, NY) pitched 4 innings only allowing one earned run, striking out 4. Freshmen Jordan Delaney (Watertown, NY) is credited the win pitching the last two innings. At the plate in the top of the 7^th inning with two outs and a tie game, sophomore Sean Gerrtise (Rochester, NY) hit a double in the left-center gap to drive in two runs.

 Game 2:

Jefferson won game two 11-0 behind starting sophomore pitcher Mitchell DuBois (Oneida, NY). DuBois is credited the win while Romulo Garcia (Bronx, NY) and Eury Villalona (Brooklyn, NY) each pitched scoreless innings. At the plate, everyone in the starting lineup provided a hit, and defensively freshmen catcher Elliot Martin (Turin, NY) caught the only two attempting to steal.

Our next Fall Ball game is Saturday, October 6^th versus the Jefferson CC Baseball Alumni. First pitch is at 1pm at the Watertown Fairgrounds. Fee to play is free and anyone is welcome to attend!
