Cannoneers Split with the Red Barons

The Jefferson Cannoneers finally saw the field this weekend after several cancellations due to weather. In the 2nd part of the doubleheader the Cannoneers took total control with a 12-1 win over the Red Barons.  The only run Corning scored came in the first inning after that it was all Jefferson.  Naim Bibovic led JCC with 2 hits, 4 RBI's and scoring 2 runs.  Michael Espino followed with 3 hits and scoring 2 runs.  Alberto Torres, Matthew Villalobos, and John Andrews each scored to 2 runs for Jefferson.  Benjamin Godbout also contributed 2 RBI's with his 2 hits.  Joshua Navarra pitched 5 innings, had 8 strikeouts and only gave up 1 run.  Joshua Harvey finished the game in the 6th striking out 2 batters.
