Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY--Sophomore Libero, Katie Peters, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Volleyball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending October 21, 2012.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. Katie, a 2010 graduate of Lowville Central School District, is majoring in Humanities and Social Science at Jefferson.  The Lady Cannoneers went 3-0 this week and are the MSAC Champions!  Katie Peters led the defense as usual, compiling 17 digs and 15 service points.  On Saturday she was named MSAC Tournament MVP.  All season Katie has been ranked in the top ten regionally for digs per set.  Katie is a steady force in the back row as well as a consistent server, so far this season she has served the ball 374 times and only has 7 errors, and amazing effort by Katie!
