Gabrielle I. Navarra Named Jefferson Community CollegeAthlete of the Week

Watertown, NY--Sophomore Defender, Gabrielle I. Navarra, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Women’s Soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending September 23, 2012.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. Gabby, a 2011 graduate of Immaculate Heart Central, is majoring in Humanities and Social Science at Jefferson.  Navarra’s accomplishments on the pitch this past week include helping her team record 2 shut-out victories against Erie Community College and Niagara County Community College. She has played every minute of her two years at Jefferson. Her talent and skills have been recognized and complimented by officials and opposing team’s coaches at nearly every game. Her leadership as a captain and her defensive skills are a major part of the Lady Cannoneer defense.
