Chelsea R. Monroe Named NJCAA Region III Athlete of the Week

Sophomore second-baseman, Chelsea R. Monroe of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) softball team was named National Junior College Athletic Association Region III athlete of the week.
Monroe, a 2010 graduate of General Brown Central School District, is majoring in humanities and social science at Jefferson. Chelsea finished 12-24 at the plate with 2 triples and a double driving in 8 runs. She also had 10 stolen bases and scored 13 runs herself. This is the second time Chelsea has earned the title of NJCAA Region III Athlete of Week.
