Jefferson Athlete of the Week

 Watertown, NY--Sophomore Guard, Morgan-Taylor E. Kiernan, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Women’s Basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending December 2, 2012.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. Morgan, a 2011 graduate of Copenhagen Central School District, is majoring in Humanities and Social Science at Jefferson.  Kiernan’s accomplishments on the court this past week include in three games scoring 16.3 points, 9 rebounds, and 4.7 steals per game.  She helped lead the Lady Cannoneers to 3-Region III wins over the past week against Clinton Community College, Hudson Valley Community College, and Adirondack Community College.  This is the Jefferson Women’s Basketball Team’s first 3-game winning streak in 4 years.
