Watertown, NY—Freshman Guard, Denzell Davis, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending February 10, 2013.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. Denzell, a graduate of Kaiserslautern High School, Chicago, IL is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson.  Davis’ accomplishments on the court this past week include scoring 12 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in their win against Onondaga Community College, while holding their leading scorer to 7 of 21 in shooting.  He also took a charge in the game against OCC which brings him to taking 22 charges on the season.
